Pursuing Your Dreams

Everything starts with a dream.  The world wouldn’t be where it is today without dreamers.  We wouldn’t have: The aircraft without the Wright Brothers. The light bulb without Thomas Edison. The iPhone without Steve Jobs.

God dreamed, then He created. You were his Dream. Dreams require action.  A dream without action is just a dream. You have to partner with a dream for it to come into being and that partnership will catalyze you into your destiny. The Lord yearns to partner with us.  This is exciting, risky and sacrificial.  Every dream that has come to pass has cost the dreamer time, money, heartache, defeat and ultimately victory.

What did these dreamers have in common: They all had a singular focus in seeing their dream achieved, they were overcomers, and didn’t let people’s opinion or fear of failure stop them.  The journey just made them stronger. Their dream changed the planet.

If the Wright Brothers hadn’t created the aircraft where would the aviation industry be?

You were God’s dream, purchased at a great price.  He has put dreams in your life and wants to partner with you to fulfill them and in the process change the world.

Ephesians 2:10 says

“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”

What dream has God placed in you?

Father we thank you for your sacrifice.  I pray for protection over our hearts as we pursue our dreams.  I eradicate fear in Jesus name because “perfect love casts out fear.” (John 4:18)
