Devotionals with David Noroña

Five years ago two fathers met on the playground of Bethel Christian School and they got to talking and they asked each other this question, "Why did you come? Why did you come from so far away?" Three thousand miles apart, one from London the other from Southern California what they said to each other was remarkable. It turns out that they both heard exactly the same thing from the Lord. They both had a background in the entertainment business and the creative arts. They had the same longing, the same dream, to create this space, this place, to train up the next generation of creative revivalists. A safe place to take risk, where you trained in the presence of God, not for identity, but from identity.

Psalm 37 invites us to delight in the Lord and he promises to give us the desires of our heart and that's exactly what we committed ourselves to doing, which was to delight in the Lord. So, we sold everything and we came here and just five weeks ago the doors of the Bethel Conservatory of the Arts opened up. I love the word of God, I love the arts and I wanted to bring them together. It's been my desire in my heart for a long time to take a creative look at our creative God's word.

Over the next year we want to spend some time with you. I invite you, as you open up the word of God to take that creative look at our creative God's story.

"Make God the utmost delight and pleasure of your life, and he will provide for you what you desire the most." - Psalm 37:4 TPT
